I have
been deer hunting with Spike Smith for
the last 4 years and it has always been
a great experience. Spike is
always friendly, professional and
provides you with opportunities to see
game. My last hunt (11/07) at
Arrowhead Hunting Preserve was
outstanding. Over the course of
one day, I was lucky enough to see
15+ deer and left with a nice 7
point buck. Spike knows his
land an is genuine in his concern that
the hunter has an enjoyable, relaxing,

Turkey - I remember my heart
pounding as it rounded the corner.
Spike and I, guns to shoulder, on the
count of 3. BOOM! We had to
be the happiest men on earth that
moment.
Deer
- My first buck was shot on Spike's
land. I also missed an 11
pointer. And 2 weeks later,
from the same stand, I killed 2
bobcats.
Spike
himself - "Spike Speakin" - A famous
phrase I probably will remember my whole
life. Hunting with him is great,
but I also like just sitting down to eat
with him or something at the "Dutch
Oven" (our favorite restaurant).
But Spike Smith will always be one of my
childhood idols. |
